No longer do you have to worry about an elderly person being left home alone. Technology has been developed that will send for help, even if the button on the alert module is not pressed. The Life Alert system detects if a person falls and automatically alerts emergency responders.

You may think that the Life Alert device would be good enough protection for the elderly. It allows them to summon help if they become incapacitated. It seems, however, that just the act of some of them getting up is cause for alarm. That is where the Early Warning Fall Alert comes in.

A device like this would have a significant advantage over other warning systems given the fact that the individual in question would not actually have to be conscious to summon help.
