Do you lose your cell phone all the time? This new device called The ZOMM is supposed to help you from misplacing your mobile phone, and lets you make calls even if your phone is hidden in your pocket or purse.

The makers of the ZOMM are calling it the "world's first wireless leash" for mobile phones. From the images on the teaser video on the ZOMM website, the device looks like a keychain Bluetooth dongle that will let you use your phone even if you can’t find it. The puck-shaped device is supposed to work as a wireless speakerphone for incoming calls, and provides a panic button and one-touch emergency dialing if your phone is stuck inside a briefcase or bag when you need to make that 911 call. LG Chocolate BL40 has been launched in early September. And now, right this Monday, 28 they have announced new Chocolate series BL20 slider. Is it much like Palm with its Pre and less well equipped Pixi sitting in the pipeline. Only that since Pre has gone cheaper, prices are on the different level. I've brought Palm example because it's the freshest of the case, all manufacturers do the same at some degree. Since LG Chocolate BL20 is not that much of a pump like Pixi, we'll just have a short specs walkthrough. Release of the BL20 is going to happen in Q4 in UK at O2.

Again much like Pixi, Chocolate BL20 lacks Wi-Fi and even 3G. for decent browsing Chocolate slider’s owner will have to find good EDGE signal and take his time. So, the specs: LG Chocolate BL20 stores its widgets on a 2.4 inch 240 x 320 QVGA TFT display, 262K colors. Camera is fairly nice, has Clear Memo Capture feature for better image of handwritten text, graphs or other stuff printed on paper, 5MP, autofocus and flash. 900mAh Li-Ion battery provides 450 hours of standby and five hours of talk time. That should be enough since you won’t be browsing the Web too much on it. Internal memory has 60MB as standard and is expandable up to 16GB via microSD slot.

Further highlights of the Stuff Gadget Awards were the iPhone 3GS snagging Phone of the Year and Readers’ Gadget of the Year, Spotify for Audio Gadget, and the Sony KDL-40WE5 as Eco Gadget of the Year.

A concept phone has been in the making, for what mobile phones will look like in near future. Its makers are not looking at 20 years ahead, but just about two or five years. Ondo, is the name of the new concept phone which is supposed to be a music phone that is currently being blogged about.

The Ondo features three detachable "sticks", each with its own OLED screen, internal flash memory, microphone and power supply. Together, they form the main touch display of the phone. When detached from the chassis, each can be clipped onto musical instruments or a person to capture audio streams. The housing of the Ondo will be made from a bendable material with piezoelectric properties that give it music-editing capabilities. There's also a physical fine-tune dial for the remixing of audio files.

The Ondo is targeted at amateur users and music enthusiasts. The former group is passionate about music and interested to learn how to play an instrument, while the latter has prior experience with creating music and probably plays in a band as well.

Sanyo SCP-2700
The Sanyo SCP-2700 will come with a 2.2″ color LCD display that isn’t touchscreen - now isn’t that a welcome change from the slew of touchscreen handsets that have been making their way across markets all over the world lately? Well, call it old technology, but it does have its niche.

The compact candybar handset will feature its own QWERTY keyboard to help you get those text messages and email out in double quick time. Not only that, it will cater to either gender with Impulsive Pink and Deep Blue colors, and with threaded text messaging, it will be much easier to keep track of your conversations each time an email or text message comes in. For folks who can’t live with emoticons, there is a dedicated emoticon key that makes it a snap to insert smiley faces and other symbols into their text messages and emails.

In case you were impressioned with the Morph concept, then we are ready to strike you again, now with a phone concept Open. So far, we know only that Nokia Open support connectivity 4 Gb and includes flexible display, which we have already admired a year ago produced by Sony. The gadget has a fan form, and in seems that it will be rather difficult to carry it in the pocket, because of it's fragility. As we can see, the handset is equipped with a camera, and probably a virtual keypad on the touch screen.

The image of this gadget was discovered on the Flickr after what appeared on the Concept Phones, but Nokia haven't made any comments in connection with this concept. In case it works in this gadget we may see it in sale after 2015, because Nokia Morph is programmed for launch in 7 years.
